Hi everyone! My name is Ashleigh Collins and I am a Registered Dietitian with years of experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to groups and individuals. I hold certifications in eating disorders and obesity, teaching, and public health. I am also a board certified nutrition support specialist.

In my free time I love hiking, exercising, experimenting with new recipes, and exploring new places.

About

NW Medical Weight Management was started in 2022 by Amy Hanson, FNP.

In 2000, Amy took a big interest in exercise and nutrition and worked as a personal trainer/group exercise instructor and ran a nutrition program at a local gym. Her interest grew from there and she continued her education and completed a degree in Nursing.  For nearly a decade she worked in the ICU caring for Salem's sickest patients.  It was then that the importance of proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle became so abundantly important. With the desire to learn and grow, Amy continued her education and became a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Recognizing the importance of having a team approach to treating obesity, along with the personal understanding of the struggles of weight management is how NW Medical Weight Management came to be.

We are passionate about treating and managing this disease process with you.
